Painting Clouds & Skyscapes in Oil | All Day 6-Hour Workshop in Traditional or Water Soluble Oil | Saturday January 20th, 2024 | 10:00am-4:00pm | One hour break included | for $160.00 + Tax |

If you love painting clouds and want to nail that big sky painting then this workshop is for you!

This special session will explore painting different types of cloud formations, cloudscapes and skyscapes. Taught by modernist master Kathryn Stedham who will introduce key concepts to unlock your painting potential.

This opportunity will include step-by step instruction, demos, discussion of tools and materials as well as plenty of individual painting time for creating a successful cloud painting!  Session will also cover the Stedham Method of non-toxic oil painting and clean up.

Level: All Levels, first timers to experienced artists are welcome! Take your paintings to a new level and join us for this dynamic workshop! 

Medium: Traditional or Water Soluble Oil Paints (This is a Solvent-Free Workshop!)

Artist Bio: Kathryn Stedham has been a professional artist for over 35 years and her paintings are featured in public and private collections throughout the United States, Europe, Japan, and Canada. Stedham first received her training as an academic realist, with her interest evolving into the gestural Alla Prima painting style for which she is known today. Her approach combines representational forms with an expressionist modernist sensibility. Stedham is a Holbein Artist Materials sponsored artist since 2018 and is represented by Blue Rain Gallery in Santa Fe.
